The dangers of Diet Culture Marketing and Why We're Different

Diet culture marketing is spread throughout social media. Growing up as a young woman, you are a target for companies who want to prey on your insecurities and convince you that you need their products to help you change the way you look. Diet culture values body weight above health and wellbeing and we have been programmed to associate good health and wellbeing with smaller bodies. This encourages disordered eating habits, major food guilt, restriction and rules surrounding food and exercise that are unrealistic and unsustainable.

There are more than enough 'health' products and supplements out there that are detrimental to your wellbeing and marketed to make you think that you are not good enough the way you are. These products are often filled with additives, laxatives and artificial ingredients that will only leave you feeling unsatisfied and hungry.

So what's different about Eva's Wellbeing?

Eva's Wellbeing Supplements was created from a passion for health and wellness and wanting to create a brand for women that does not use diet culture marketing and that promises products that are 100% natural and made from real food only. We do not promise weight loss, flat tummies or a thigh gap. We do not want you to suppress your appetite or curb your cravings by consuming dangerous products with zero nutritional value.

Our goal is not to change your body to something that society deems acceptable and 'healthy', but to nourish and fuel your body with real food and centre your healthy habits around how you feel, not what you look like. A woman can be whatever shape or size she wants, as long as she's happy. We want this business, and our products, to be focused on helping you be the best version of yourself. We want to create a conversation and be part of the side that helps to dismantle diet culture, not thrive off of it.
